Broccoli Salad

A unique and flavorful salad that's perfect as a side dish for meat, grilled items, tapas, or on bread with butter. Its distinct taste and texture make it a crowd-pleaser at any potluck.

Ingredients

  • 3 heads
  • 3 handfuls
  • 200 g
  • 0.5 large
  • 300 g
  • 1.5 pack mayonnaise
  • 100 ml water
  • 2 tablespoons
  • 1 tablespoon 7% vinegar

Steps

    Preparation

    • Cut all the small broccoli florets and put them in a big bowl.
    • Toast the sunflower seeds in a dry pan for 3-5 minutes.
    • Finely chop the red onion.
    • Mix water, sugar, and vinegar in a bowl, stir in the mayonnaise.
    • Fry the bacon until crisp and cut it into small pieces.
    • Mix in raisins, sunflower seeds, bacon, and red onion in the bowl with the broccoli.
    • Add the mayonnaise mixture and turn it into the salad.
    • Let it develop flavor for a few hours before serving.
