Pasta with Smoked Salmon And Capers

A rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring smoked salmon, capers, and a hint of lemon zest.
Ingredients
- 275 g smoked salmon
- 1 unit red onion
- 3 unit green onions
- 100 ml dry white wine or apple juice
- 300 g crème fraîche
- 2 tbsp capers
- 0.5 unit lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh dill
- 400 g spaghetti
Steps
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
- Sauté the red onion and green onions in a little butter over medium heat until the onions are translucent and soft.
- Add the white wine or apple juice, and let it simmer for a few minutes until the liquid has almost evaporated.
- Add the crème fraîche and stir well.
- Add the capers and fresh dill, and season to taste with lemon juice, salt (if necessary), and freshly ground black pepper.
- Just before serving, add the cooked pasta and sliced salmon to the sauce.
- Serve immediately with a sprinkle of finely grated lemon zest and fresh dill, and perhaps with some good bread as a side.
