
Dubai Chocolate

A luxurious chocolate treat filled with crispy kataifi pastry and pistachio paste, decorated with vibrant chocolate splashes.
Ingredients
- 150 g kataifi pastry
- 60 g butter
- 360 g pistachio paste
- 20 g tahini
- 1 pinch salt
- 500 g dark or milk chocolate
- 100 g pink chocolate
- 100 g green chocolate
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
Steps
- Melt the butter over medium heat in a high-sided frying pan.
- Add kataifi pastry, breaking it up and stirring frequently until golden and crisp (about 10 minutes).
- In a bowl, mix pistachio paste, tahini, and salt until well combined.
- Add the toasted kataifi and mix thoroughly. Set aside.
- Place both molds on a tray.
- Melt pink chocolate and mix in 1 tbsp coconut oil.
- Flick pink chocolate over the mold using a teaspoon to create a splash pattern.
- Melt green chocolate, mix in 1 tbsp coconut oil, and flick over the pink splashes.
- Place molds in the fridge to set.
- Melt dark or milk chocolate until smooth.
- Spoon melted chocolate into molds, ensuring full coverage inside.
- Let excess chocolate drip off while making sure sides are fully coated.
- Scrape off excess chocolate from the edges.
- Place in the fridge to set.
- Spoon kataifi-pistachio mixture into molds, spreading evenly with an angled spatula.
- Pour remaining melted chocolate over filling and smooth with a spatula.
- Use a chocolate scraper to clean edges for a professional finish.
- Allow chocolates to set completely in the fridge before unmolding.
