Spinach Soup

Quick and easy recipe for homemade spinach soup with chicken broth and garlic. Great dinner for the whole family on a cold day!
Ingredients
- 1 unit onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 30 g butter
- 200 g spinach
- 600 ml chicken broth
- 100 ml cream
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch ground pepper
- 1 pinch grated nutmeg
Steps
- Sauté onion and garlic in butter in a saucepan. Stir in the leaves when the onion has become translucent and soft. Continue sautéing while stirring until the leaves have wilted.
- Add chicken broth, bring to a boil and cook the soup for 5–10 minutes.
- Blend the soup smooth with an immersion blender. Add the cream, bring the soup to a new boil, and season with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg.
