Velveeta Queso

A rich and creamy queso dip with ground beef, Velveeta, and a blend of cheeses, perfect for parties or game day.

Ingredients

  • 250 g ground meat
  • some salt
  • some
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 200 ml Pale Ale
  • 1.5 dl cheddar Jack cheese
  • 4 dl Velveeta cheese
  • 1 can
  • 2.5 dl black beans
  • 0.5 dl red onion
  • 0.5 dl coriander

Steps

    Skillet Preparation

    • Cook and crumble the ground beef over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Drain any grease once cooked.
    • Add crushed red pepper flakes, salt/pepper, and beer. Let the beer reduce for 4-5 minutes.
    • Reduce heat to medium-low, add in the cheese and let it melt, stirring occasionally.
    • Stir in the beans, red onions, and cilantro once the cheese is melted.
    • Add the tomatoes, adjusting the consistency with the tomato juice if desired.
    • Continue heating for about 5 minutes, then serve.

    Crock Pot Instructions

    • Brown the meat and drain the grease, then add all remaining ingredients to the Crock Pot. Heat on high for 2 hours or on low for 4-5 hours.
