I was born into the breathtaking landscapes of Norway, a world where the majestic fjords and the mesmerizing Northern Lights were the backdrop of my childhood. Nestled in a small village, surrounded by towering mountains and deep, tranquil waters, a sense of wonder and creativity was instilled in me from a very young age. My earliest and fondest memories are tied to the comforting scents of my grandmother's kitchen, where traditional Norwegian kaker (cakes) and søte bakverk (sweet pastries) were lovingly brought to life.
Inspired by my grandmother's incredible skill and the rich culinary heritage of my homeland, I set off on a journey to master the art of baking. My formative years were spent traversing Norway, absorbing everything from the vibrant markets of Oslo to the quaint cottages of Lofoten, soaking in ancient recipes and learning modern techniques. My passion for baking was never just about the flavors and textures; it was deeply rooted in the stories and traditions each recipe carried.
